Abstract
Penyakit jantung masih menjadi salah satu penyebab utama
Terapi
pada pasien penyakit jantung sering melibatkan beberapa jenis obat
sehingga meningkatkan potensi terjadinya interaksi obat.
tercatat selama pasien menjalani perawatan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas pasien adalah
laki-laki (66,6%) dengan kelompok usia terbanyak 46–65 tahun.
Interaksi obat yang paling sering ditemukan melibatkan antiplatelet,
ACE inhibitor/ARB, beta-blocker, digoksin, dan spironolakton.
Sebagian besar interaksi termasuk kategori sedang (60%) dan 20%
termasuk kategori berat.
Heart disease remains one of the leading causes of morbidity in
Indonesia, with a high prevalence reported in RISKESDAS 2018 and
SKN 2023. This condition is generally triggered by atherosclerosis,
which leads to the narrowing of the coronary arteries. Therapy for
patients with heart disease often involves multiple types of medications,
thereby increasing the potential for drug–drug interactions. This study
aims to identify patterns of drug use based on patient characteristics,
length of hospital stay, dosage forms, and types of drugs, as well as to
analyze the profile of drug interactions from pharmacodynamic and
pharmacokinetic perspectives. Specifically, this study seeks to determine
drug utilization patterns and potential drug interactions among heart
disease patients at Dr. Moewardi Regional General Hospital, Surakarta.
This study employed a descriptive non-experimental method,
with data obtained from medical records. The analysis was conducted to
identify drug interactions based on the therapeutic regimens recorded
during the patients’ hospitalization.
The results showed that the majority of patients were male
(66.6%), with the largest age group being 46–65 years. The most
frequently identified drug interactions involved antiplatelet agents, ACE
inhibitors/ARBs, beta-blockers, digoxin, and spironolactone. Most
interactions were classified as moderate (60%), while 20% were
classified as severe. These findings highlight the importance of
comprehensive monitoring of drug therapy to reduce the risk of harmful
drug interactions.
