PENGARUH EDUKASI TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN TERHADAP KEPATUHAN MINUM OBAT ANTIDIABETES PADA PASIEN PROLANIS DI PUSKESMAS KEBAKKRAMAT II TAHUN 2024

Diabetes melitus merupakan penyakit atau gangguan metabolisme yang ditandai dengan tingginya kadar gula darah dan dapat menimbulkan berbagai komplikasi yang sangat mempengaruhi kualitas hidup penyandangnya sehingga perlu mendapatkan edukasi untuk meningkatkan tingkat pengetahuan dan kepatuhan pengobatannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi dalam kegiatan prolanis terhadap tingkat pengetahuan dan kepatuhan pengobatan pasien diabetes melitus di Puskesmas Kebakkramat II, Karanganyar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan desain study one group pretest and post test. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu pasien prolanis Diabetes Melitus di Puskesmas Kebakkramat II yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi yaitu usia 17-65 tahun, pernah menderita Diabetes Melitus, anggota Prolanis, dan bersedian menjadi responden. Data lalu diuji SPSS menggunakan Sample Paired T-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan dari sebelum dan setelah diberikan edukasi pada tingkat pengetahuan dengan kategori tinggi 50%, sedang 37,5% dan rendah 12,5% dengan nilai sig. 0,000(<0,05). Nilai Kepatuhan minum obat setelah dilakukan edukasi kepatuhan minum obat dengan kategori tinggi 40%, sedang 50%, dan rendah 10% dengan nilai sig. 0,000(<0,05). Pemberian edukasi berpengaruh secara signifikan pada pasien Prolanis Diabetes. Diabetes mellitus is a disease or metabolic disorder characterized by high blood sugar levels and can cause various complications that greatly affect the quality of life of sufferers, so they need to receive education to increase the level of knowledge and compliance with treatment. This study aims to determine the effect of education in prolanis activities on the level of knowledge and compliance with treatment of diabetes mellitus patients at the Kebakkramat II Community Health Center, Karanganyar. This research uses a purposive sampling method with a one group pretest and post test study design. The sample in this study was Prolanis Diabetes Mellitus patients at the Kebakkramat II Community Health Center who met the inclusion criteria, namely 17-65 years of age, had suffered from Diabetes Mellitus, were Prolanis members, and were willing to be respondents. The data was then tested by SPSS using the Sample Paired T-test. The results of the study showed that there were an increase before and after being given education in the level of knowledge with a high category of 50%, medium 37.5% and low 12.5% with a sig value. 0.000(<0.05). The value of adherence to taking medication after education on medication adherence was in the high category of 40%, medium 50%, and low 10% with a sig value. 0.000(<0.05). Providing education has a significant effect on Prolanis Diabetes patients.
