Abstract
Sabun kertas (Papersoap) merupakan sediaan sabun cair yang diinovasikan secara unik dalam bentuk lembaran tipis menyerupai kertas. Bunga telang mengandung senyawa flavonoid, alkaloid, tanin, saponin, terpenoid, dan steroid yang memiliki aktivitas sebagai antibakteri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi Na CMC, mutu fisik dan stabilitas dari sediaan sabun kertas ekstrak bunga telang, serta formula terbaik yang dilihat dari parameter aktivitas anti bakteri terhadap Staphylococcus aureus.
Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga formula variasi Na-CMC dengan masing-masing konsentrasi 3%, 4%, dan 5%, ditambah satu formula kontrol. Zat aktif menggunakan ekstrak bunga telang dengan konsentrasi 15% yang dilarutkan. Pengujian mutu fisik sediaan sabun kertas meliputi uji organoleptik, pH, homogenitas, stabilitas, ketinggian busa, dan viskositas. Uji aktvitas antibakteri terhadap Staphylococcus aureus menggunakan metode difusi sumuran. Data yang diperoleh diolah dengan statistik Shapiro-wilk, dilakukan uji one way anova/kruskal wallis.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak bunga telang dapat dibuat menjadi sediaan sabun kertas dengan mutu fisik dan stabilitas yang baik. Sabun kertas dengan variasi Na CMC berpengaruh terhadap mutu fisik sabun kertas berupa viskositas dalam fluida mengalir. Pada F1, F2, F3 mampu memiliki diameter zona hambat kategori kuat terhadap bakteri Staphylococcus aureus, hasil berturut-turut 30,0;33,5;31,6 mm dan formula terbaik diperoleh pada formula 2 dilihat dari parameter aktivitas antibakteri terhadap Stapylococcus aureus.
Paper soap (Papersoap) is a liquid soap preparation that was uniquely innovated in the form of thin sheets resembling paper. Telang flowers contain flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins, saponins, terpenoids and steroids which have antibacterial activity. Na-CMC has a role as a viscosity that affects the physical quality of soap. The aim of this research was to determine the best formula for the effect of butterfly pea flower extract with good physical quality paper soap which has antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus. This study used three variations of Na-CMC formula with concentrations of 3%, 4% and 5% respectively. plus one control formula. Physical quality testing of paper soap preparations includes organoleptic tests, pH, homogeneity, stability, foam height and viscosity. Antibacterial activity test against Staphylococcus aureus using the well diffusion method. The data obtained was processed using Shapiro-Wilk statistics, one way ANOVA/Kruskal Wallis test was carried out. The results of the research show that the preparation formula for paper soap with butterfly pea flower extract can have an influence on the physical quality of paper soap in the form of viscosity in flowing fluids. And F1, F2, F3 able to have a strong category inhibitory zone diameter against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria, results respectively 30.0; 33.5 ;31.6 mm. And the best formula was obtained in formula 2 in term of antibacterial activity parameters against Staphylococcus aureus.
