PENGETAHUAN PASIEN RAWAT JALAN DIABETES MELITUS TIPE 2 TERHADAP TERAPI OBAT ANTIDIABETES DI RUMAH SAKIT TNI AD SLAMET RIYADI SURAKARTA

Diabetes melitus merupakan penyakit kronis yang tidak dapat disembuhkan, sehingga terapi diberikan secara terus menerus dengan tepat. Salah satu penentu keberhasilan terapi adalah adanya pengetahuaan penggunaan obat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengetahuan pasien rawat jalan terhadap penggunaan obat terapi antidiabetes di Rumah Sakit TNI AD Slamet Riyadi Surakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian non eksperimental dengan rancangan analisis deskriptif dan pengambilan data menggunakan metode prospektif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 55 responden diabetes mellitus tipe 2 rawat jalan di Rumah Sakit TNI AD Slamet Riyadi Surakarta dimana sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian terhadap 55 responden diabetes melitus tipe 2 rawat jalan di Rumah Sakit TNI AD Slamet Riyadi Surakarta menunjukkan bahwa pada rentang usia 36-45 tahun memiliki persentase 9,1 %, sedangkan pada usia 46-55 tahun memiliki persentase 18,2 %, penyakit diabetes melitus lebih banyak diderita oleh pasien dengan rentang usia 56-65 tahun memiliki persentase sejumlah 47,3 %, sedangkan pada usia ≥ 66 tahun memiliki persetase 25,5 %. Hasil uji pengetahuan pengobatan diabetes melitus tipe 2 terhadap 55 responden didapatkan hasil 100% memiliki pengetahuan baik. Diabetes melitus is a chronic disease that cannot be cured, so therapy is given continuously and appropriately. One of the determinants of successful therapy is the knowledge of drug use. The purpose of this study was to determine the knowledge of outpatients on the use of antidiabetic therapy drugs at the Slamet Riyadi Army Hospital Surakarta. This study is a type of non-experimental research with a descriptiv analysis design and data collection using prospective methods. This study was conducted on 55 respondents with type 2 diabetes mellitus outpatient at the Slamet Riyadi Army Hospital Surakarta where the sample was taken with purposive sampling technique. The results of the study of 55 respondents with type 2 diabetes mellitus outpatient at the Slamet Riyadi Army Hospital Surakarta showed that in the age range 36-45 years had a percentage of 9.1%, while at the age of 46-55 years had a percentage of 18.2%, diabetes melitus was more suffered by patients with an age range of 56-65 years having a percentage of 47.3%, while at the age of ≥ 66 years had a percentage of 25.5%. The results of the type 2 diabetes mellitus treatment knowledge test on 55 respondents showed 100%.
