Abstract
1%.
Penelitian ini menggunakan perlakuan sebanyak 5 kelompok,
masing-masing kelompok memiliki 5 ekor tikus. Masing-masing tikus
diinduksi karagenin 1% kemudian diukur volume udema pada telapak
kaki tikus sebelum dan sesudah diinduksi. Kelompok tersebut
kemudian diberi sediaan uji peroral dengan kontrol negatif (CMC Na
0,5%), kontrol positif (Natrium Diclofenak), kelompok ekstrak etanol
batang inggu sebanyak 25, 50, dan 100 mg/kgBB tikus kemudian
diukur kembali volume udema.
Antiinflammatories are drugs or compounds that can reduce
clinical symptoms due to inflammation, classified as NSAIDs (Non
Steroidal Anti Inflammatory Drug) and corticosteroids. Most
Indonesians have turned to traditional medicine using medicinal plants
because the potential side effects are smaller. One of the plants that can
be used as traditional medicine is the inggu plant (Ruta graveolens
Linn.). This study aims to determine the anti-inflammatory effect and
determine the concentration of ethanol stem extract (Ruta graveolens
Linn.) that is effective as an anti-inflammatory against male white rats
that have been induced by 1% caragenin.
This study uses 5 groups of treatments, each group has 5 rats.
Each rat was induced with 1% carrageenin and then measured the
volume of edema on the soles of the rat's feet before and after being
induced. The group was then given peroral test preparations with
negative control (CMC Na 0.5%), positive control (Diclofenac
sodium), ethanol extract group of inggu stem as much as 25, 50, and
100 mg/kgBB rats and then measured again the volume of udema. Data
were analyzed by calculating the average AUC and %DAI and
analyzed by ANOVA test using SPSS software.
The results showed that ethanol extract of inggu stem (Ruta
graveolens (L.) has an anti-inflammatory effect, from doses of 25 mg /
kgBB, 50 mg / kgBB and 100 mg / kgBB among these doses, the dose
of 100 mg / kgBB has the same anti-inflammatory effect close to the
positive control Na-diclofenac against male white rats that have been
induced by 1% caragenin but still has a significant difference with the
positive control.
