Abstract
Infeksi enterobiasis masih menjadi perhatian di Indonesia. Anak-
anak sering terkena infeksi enterobiasis, dimana dapat mengiritasi daerah
perianal, yang menyebabkan penderitanya sering menggaruk, sehingga
menyebabkan luka, gangguan tidur seperti mimpi buruk, nafsu makan
menurun, mudah tersinggung dan marah, serta gangguan kecemasan.
Faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya infeksi enterobiasis adalah
personal hygiene yang buruk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui
gambaran personal hygiene dan kejadian enterobiasis pada anak di Panti
Asuhan Anak Seribu Pulau Jaten Karanganyar.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasional deskriptif
dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel terdiri dari 34 anak atau
seluruh anak yang tinggal di panti asuhan Anak Seribu Pulau Jaten
Karanganyar. Pemeriksaan sampel dilakukan dengan metode anal swab.
Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling. Penelitian ini
dilaksanakan pada bulan April-Mei 2024 di Panti Asuhan Anak Seribu
Pulau Jaten Karanganyar dan pemeriksaan mikroskopis dilakukan di
Laboratorium Parasitologi Universitas Setia Budi Surakarta.
Hasil dari penelitian didapatkan bahwa gambaran personal
hygiene responden paling banyak kategori baik sejumlah 27 responden
(79,4%), kategori cukup sejumlah 6 responden, kategori kurang
sejumlah 1 responden (2,9%), dan keseluruhan responden tidak
menglami kejadian enterobiasis dimana semua sampel negatif
Enterobius vermicularis.
Enterobiasis infection is still a concern in Indonesia. Children
often get enterobiasis infection, which can irritate the perianal area,
causing sufferers to scratch frequently, causing wounds, sleep disorders
such as nightmares, decreased appetite, irritability and anger, and anxiety
disorders. One of the factors that causes enterobiasis infection is poor
personal hygiene. This study aims to determine the description of
personal hygiene and the incidence of enterobiasis in children at the
Seribu Pulau Children's Reformatory, Jaten Karanganyar.
This study uses a descriptive observational method with a cross
sectional approach. The sample consisted of 34 children or all children
at the Thousand Island Children's Reformatory in Jaten Karanganyar.
Sample examination is carried out using the anal swab method. The
sampling technique used total sampling. This study was conducted in
April-May 2024 at the Seribu Pulau Children's Reformatory, Jaten
Karanganyar and microscopic examination was carried out at the
Parasitology Laboratory of Setia Budi University, Surakarta.
The results of the study showed that the description of personal
hygiene of the respondents was mostly in the good category with 27
respondents (79.4%), in the sufficient category with 6 respondents, in the
poor category with 1 respondent (2.9%), and all respondents did not
experience enterobiasis where all samples were negative for Enterobius
vermicularis.
