Abstract

Antioksidan adalah molekul yang dapat menghambat oksidasi molekul lain. Antioksidan dapat melindungi kulit dari berbagai kerusakan sel akibat sinar UV, anti aging. Daun teh mengandung 30 40% polifenol yang sebagian besar dikenal sebagai katekin. Katekin (polifenol) adalah antioksidan yang kuat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui formulasi lotion ekstrak daun teh hijau (Camellia sinersis) yang menghasilkan uji mutu fisik (uji organoleptik, uji pH, uji homogenitas, uji viskositas, uji daya sebar) dan stabilitas yang baik dan dapat menghasilkan aktivitas antioksidan terbesar berdasarkan metode DPPH. Daun teh hijau diekstraksi menggunakan pelarut etanol 70% dengan menggunakan metode maserasi. Pembuatan sediaan lotion diformulasi dengan konsentrasi basis 1,5%, 3%, dan 6%. Lotion ekstrak daun teh dilakukan pengujian mutu fisik dan stabilitas dilanjutkan pengujian aktivitas antioksidan dengan metode DPPH. Antioxidants are molecules that can impede other molecules' oxidation. Antioxidants protect the skin from various uv, anti-aging, cell damage. Tea leaves contain 30 to 40% of polyphenols, most of which are known as catchers. The mannequins (polyphenols) are powerful antioxidants. The purpose of this study is to know the formulation of green tea leaf extract lotion (camellia synersis) that results in physical quality tests (organoleptic tests, ph tests, homophobic tests, viscosity tests, spread tests) and may produce the greatest antioxidal activity based on DPPH methods. Green tea leaves are extracted using a 70% ethanol solvent using the maseration method. Availability of lotions is formulated with a 1,5%, 3%, and 6% concentration base. Tea leaves extract lotions are made by physical quality and stability, followed by the anti-oxidant activity, DPPH method.
