Abstract

Ekstrak daun alpukat dan bunga rosela mengandung flavonoid yang memiliki aktivitas antioksidan. Kombinasi tanaman yang berbeda diduga mampu menghasilkan aktivitas antioksidan yang lebih baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui aktivitas antioksidan dari kombinasi ekstrak daun alpukat dan bunga rosela. Daun alpukat dan bunga rosela dikeringkan lalu diserbukkan dengan derajat halus 40 . Hasil serbuk diekstraksi menggunakan metode maserasi dengan etanol 70 % dibuat kombinasi dengan perbandingan (1:1) , (1:2) dan (2:1). Hasil ekstrak tunggal dan kombinasinya dilakukan dilakukan uji aktivitas antioksidan dengan menggunakan metode DPPH. Pengujian dilakukan pada ekstrak tunggal serta kombinasi ekstrak daun alpukat dan bunga rosela yang dilarutkan dengan etanol. Analisis aktivitas antioksidan ditentukan dengan nilai IC₅₀ (Inhibition concentration). Hasil IC₅₀ ekstrak daun alpukat ekstrak etanol daun alpukat 74,34 ppm, ekstrak bunga rosela 107,19 ppm, dan pada perbandingan 1:1 adalah 95,01 ppm, perbandingan 1:2 adalah 84,42 ppm, dan perbandingan 2:1 adalah 72,80 ppm. Avocado leaf and roselle flower extracts contain flavonoids which have antioxidant activity. The combination of different plants is thought to be able to produce better antioxidant activity. The aim of this research was to determine the antioxidant activity of a combination of brewing avocado leaves and roselle flowers. Avocado leaves and roselle flowers are dried and then powdered to a certain degree of 40. The resulting powder was extracted using the maceration method with 70 % ethanol is made in a combination with a ratio of (1:1), (1:2) and (2:1). The resulting single extrack and the combination Antioxidant activity test was carried out using the DPPH method. Tests were carried out on single extrack as well as a combination of avocado leaf and roselle flower extracts dissolved in ethanol. Analysis of antioxidant activity is determined by the IC₅₀ (Inhibition concentration) value. The IC₅₀ results of avocado leaf extract were 74,34 ppm, rosella flower extract 107,19 ppm, and in a 1:1 ratio it was 95,01 ppm, a 1:2 ratio was 84,42 ppm, and a 2:1 ratio it was 72,80 ppm.
