Abstract

Formulasi sediaan gel pada penelitian ini bertujuan agar mengetahui sediaan gel ekstrak etanol daun stroberi dengan variasi konsentrasi carbopol 940 dapat diformulasikan menjadi gel dengan mutu fisik yang baik. Daun stroberi diekstraksi menggunakan metode maserasi dengan pelarut etanol 96% pengujian ekstrak dengan uji fitokimia dan analisis kandungan ekstrak dengan kromatografi lapis tipis (KLT). Konsentrasi 1% ekstrak daun stoberi dan variasi carbopol 940 0,5%; 1%; 1,5%. Penentuan uji mutu fisik yaitu uji organoleptis, uji pH, uji viskositas, uji daya sebar, uji daya lekat dan uji stabilitas. Hasil uji sediaan gel ekstrak daun stroberi menunjukkan bahwa formula 2 dengan konsentrasi carbopol 1% memiliki mutu fisik dan stabilitas yang paling baik. The formulation of gel preparations in this study aimed to determine whether sunscreen gel preparations of ethanol extract of strawberry leaves with various carbopol 940 concentrations could be formulated into gels with good physical quality. Strawberry leaves were extracted using the maceration method with 96% ethanol solvent with a concentration of 1% strawberry leaf extract and variations of carbopol 940 0.5%; 1%; 1.5%. Determination of physical quality tests, namely organoleptic test, pH test, viscosity test, spreadability test, adhesion test and stability test. The test results of strawberry leaf extract gel showed that formula 2 with 1% carbopol concentration had the best physical quality and stability.
