Abstract

Berdasarkan jumlah kasus diare menurut Kecamatan di Kabupaten Ngawi Tahun 2020, Kecamatan Paron persentasenya masih tinggi yaitu sebesar 397 kasus (2018), 975 kasus (2019), dan 869 kasus (2020). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh edukasi penggunaan obat antidiare terhadap pengetahuan pelajar SMK Negeri 1 Paron, Kabupaten Ngawi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian intervensi, dengan rancangan penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Sampel yang digunakan diambil dengan metode purpovise sampling. Analisa statistik data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji t-test berpasangan. Dalam penelitian ini diambil sampel sebanyak 210 siswa. Gambaran pengetahuan pelajar SMK Negeri 1 Paron tentang obat antidiare sebelum edukasi yaitu sebanyak 43,8% siswa masuk dalam kategori pengetahuan sangat rendah, 46,6% siswa kategori pengetahuan rendah, 5,7% kategori pengetahuan sedang dan 3,9% siswa kategori pengetahuan tinggi. Pada penelitian ini terdapat perbedaan sebelum dan setelah dilakukan edukasi yang dapat dilihat dari tingkat pengetahuan kategori tinggi yang semula 4,3% menjadi 91,4%. Dan didapat hasil uji t-test berpasangan dengan nilai sig. >0,05 yaitu 0,000 yang berarti bahwa pemberian edukasi berpengaruh pada pengetahuan diare dan penggunaan obat diare siswa. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of education on the use of anti-diarrheal drugs on the knowledge of students at SMK Negeri 1 Paron, Ngawi Regency. This research is a quantitative research using intervention research methods, with the research design One Group Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The sample used was taken by purposive sampling method. Statistical analysis of the data in this study used a paired t-test. In this study, a sample of 210 students was taken. An overview of Paron 1 SMKN 1 student knowledge about antidiarrheal drugs before education, namely as many as 43.8% of students fall into the very low knowledge category, 46.6% of students in the low knowledge category, 5.7% in the medium knowledge category and 3.9% of students in the high knowledge category . In this study there were differences before and after the education was carried out which could be seen from the level of knowledge in the high category which was originally 4.3% to 91.4%. And the results obtained from the paired t-test with a sig value. > 0.05, which is 0.000, which means that providing education has an effect on students' knowledge of diarrhea and use of diarrhea medicines.
