KAJIAN PENGGUNAAN OBAT PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS TIPE-II DI INSTALASI RAWAT INAP RUMAH SAKIT TK. III SLAMET RIYADI SURAKARTA TAHUN 2024

Gangguan metabolisme menjadi ciri Diabetes Mellitus, suatu kondisi dimana pankreas gagal memproduksi hormon insulin. Diabetes Mellitus tipe-2 ditandai dengan defisiensi insulin relatif yang disebabkan oleh disfungsi sel pankreas dan resistensi insulin. Tujuan dilakukan penellitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui profil obat antidiabetes pada pasien Diabetes Mellitus tipe-2 dan juga untuk mengetahui kerasionalan penggunaan obat antidiabetes pada pasien Diabetes Mellitus tipe-2 di instalasi rawat inap Rumah Sakit TK. III Slamet Riyadi Surakarta tahun 2024 berdasarkan Perkumpulan Endokrinologi Indonesia (PERKENI). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Cross Sectional dengan deskriptif yang bersifat non eksperimental. Teknik Pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu pusposive sampling. Data diambil dari rekam medik pasien Diabetes Mellitus tipe-2 yang dirawat di instalasi rawat inap Rumah Sakit TK.III Slamet Riyadi Surakarta tahun 2024. Hasil untuk profil penggunaan obat antidiabetik yaitu bahwa pemakaian obat antidiabetes oral monoterapi yang paling banyak digunakan adalah obat metformin dengan persentase 62%. Sedangkan pemakaian obat antidiabetik oral kombinasi yang paling banyak digunakan adalah kombinasi obat metformin + glimepiride dengan persentase 15,68%. Kajian ketepatan penggunaan obat antidiabetes untuk terapi Diabetes Mellitus tipe-2 berdasarkan PERKENI 2021 pada pasien rawat inap di Rumah Sakit TK. III Slamet Riyadi Surakarta tahun 2024 meliputi tepat indikasi 100%, tepat obat 100%, tepat pasien 100%, tepat dosis 100% sudah sesuai standar. Metabolic disorders are a hallmark of Diabetes Mellitus, a condition in which the pancreas fails to produce the hormone insulin. Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus is characterized by a relative insulin deficiency caused by pancreatic β-cell dysfunction and insulin resistance. The aim of this study is to identify the profile of antidiabetic drug use in patientswith Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and to assess the rationality of antidiabetic drug use in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients in the inpatient ward of TK. III Slamet Riyadi Hospital Surakarta in 2024, based on the guidelines of the Indonesian Society of Endocrinology (PERKENI). This research used a cross-sectional method with a descriptive, non-experimental design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data were obtained from the medical records of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients hospitalized in the inpatient ward of TK. III Slamet Riyadi Hospital Surakarta in 2024. The results showed that the most frequently used oral monotherapy antidiabetic drug was metformin, with a usage rate of 62%. Meanwhile, the most commonly used oral combination therapy was metformin + glimepiride, with a usage rate of 15.68%. The evaluation of the rational use of antidiabetic drugs for Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus therapy based on PERKENI 2021 guidelines showed that 100% of the cases met the criteria for appropriate indication, appropriate drug, appropriate patient, and appropriate dosage.
